I strongly advise anyone considering renting from Hyde Letting Agency to think twice. From the start, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. The property we rented was far from the “fully renovated” house they claimed. There were numerous issues, especially in the toilet area, which we raised multiple times. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, we were blamed for the problems, and the staff were often rude and dismissive. The landlord refused to cover any maintenance costs, leaving us to deal with the issues ourselves. Frequent and unannounced inspections made living there feel intrusive and uncomfortable. Despite repainting and thoroughly cleaning the property before we moved out, we did not receive our full deposit back. They deducted a significant portion for reasons that felt unfair and unjustified. If you still decide to rent through Hyde, make sure to take detailed photos and videos of the entire property before moving in. Protect yourself—because they definitely won’t.

Antony from Hyde Estates dealt with our purchase. We hit plenty of bumps along the way but Antony was brilliant throughout the process. He always took the time to discuss my questions on the phone and was a great bridge between myself and the seller as well as our respective solicitors. He went above and beyond to ensure both parties were satisfied and did a great job at clearly communicating even the smallest of developments regarding the purchase of the property.
