Diabolical company to deal with. Having moved out of one of their properties in February, I have just completed a deposit dispute where LA Property sought to claim over £400 of my deposit which was rejected by the TDS (thankfully!) - however, I still felt the need to post this to warn others of the business operation. Regardless of a trouble free tenancy, upon check-out they employ nothing short of cowboy and unprofessional tactics - citing old, out of date (even noted by the TDS) and false documentation in support of false claims to try and acquire your deposit in order to improve the standard of their properties. When their lack of professionalism and competence is highlighted, staff members (those in the repairs deposit administration teams) are rude, unable to answer questions and quite frankly inept. Also be very wary of claims made by the company that landlords are distinct and separate entities and that there is no relation to the defunct company 'Sherlock Holmes'. Luke (current director) is a relative of both of the previous directors of Sherlock Holmes, who are coincidentally landlord for multiple properties managed and administered by LA Property discovery; attempts made to distance themselves from such, should be a bit more thorough. A basic land registry/companies house trawl evidences the above. I would give them a one-star rating if I was able to. Where possible, avoid this company at all costs.
