I'm genuinely baffled by the attitude of this agent. Over the years, I’ve inquired several times about a particular rental property in Bacup that seems to go on and off the market more times than I can count—starting back in 2017 when it was listed on Gumtree for £850/month. In 2020, I even viewed the property and offered 12 months' rent upfront as I was in urgent need of a stable home—my previous landlord was facing repossession and my family lives locally. Despite this, the agent claimed someone else had offered two years upfront (around £36,000), which honestly felt far-fetched. Since then, this same property has repeatedly come back on the market. Had they let it to me back then, I’d likely still be there, saving everyone the time and hassle. Fast forward to today—I'm once again searching for a suitable detached property due to my current landlord failing to carry out basic legal repairs (like a boiler check). I saw the house listed again and called to inquire, only to be abruptly told it was “under application.” I mentioned my long-standing interest in the property, only for the agent to hang up on me mid-call. Absolutely unacceptable. After eight years of trying, I can say confidently: this agent’s attitude is unprofessional, dismissive, and frankly, disrespectful. A more respectful and honest approach would go a long way in this business.

A small efficient firm of estate agents whose staff really care about their clients, and always exceed their expectations. They are caring, sympathetic, helpful and encouraging, and go out of their way to ease the sometimes difficult journey of moving house. I heartily recommend their staff and their services.
