The company advertise up to 100% purchase price .... On an initial discussion I said if the company are one that offer a silly lower price not to waste either of our time . I was assured that would not be the case and so went ahead with a visit / valuation. On the day they under valued massively... offered me £25,000 less than comparable market value ... Come on .... who are you trying to kid ... your out for a nice quick fat juicy profit on people who are on hard times !!! If you want a fair price and can wait like me, then sell conventionally

Told us they would purchase our property within a matter of weeks and do it up to sell on. They even advised us not to do some repair work that we wanted to do saying there was no point as their own builders would come in and do these jobs. Instead they put the property on the market through Pegasus estate agents ( owned by the same company ) and sent prospective buyers to view with agents who did little to sell the property. They just showed them round. On many occasions it was up to me to point out the many good features of the house. At the end of 3 months they wrote to me saying they were going to extend for a further 3 months. As we felt they had misled us regarding their purchase of the house we did not wish to extend. After all in a 6 months period we could have sold the house ourselves through a reputable local estate agent and received the full market value for ourselves. On receiving their extension letter I noticed that they were overdue with the date that they had sent it to us and I rang them saying that they we were out of contract. They referred this to their solicitor and their legal department. Despite me having numerous conversations with their solicitor it took them a further 2 months to accept that we were out of contract and a further week to inform us of that in writing. I have given them 1 star for this review because I have to. In reality I wouldn't give them a star at all. I feel they misled us initially by saying that they would purchase the house and do it up for resale. They were also unreasonably slow at instructing their solicitor who himself tried to get a decision from them on numerous occasions without success. Their slowness means that we were unable to purchase another property that we wanted to buy as it was sold to someone else before our house was sold ( or in this case not sold) That had been our reason for signing up with Property Purchased Fast. We needed cash quickly. I would not advise people to use this company. If people do decide to use them I would advise people to double check any forms before signing them including duplicates etc to make sure they fully understand the terms of the contract that they are signing. In our case and in the case of the other reviewer all is not as it seems in the beginning with Property Purchased Fast.

I received an unsolicited card through my door from this firm, offering a free house appraisal. After a phone call to them, a fat flash lad came round, in an even fatter flash car. He tried to take copies of almost every document I had. I allowed him to copy one ducument but it struck me later that he could have been taking photos before he asked permission. I later discovered that reputable property agents do not do this kind of thing at this stage of an enquiry. He initially made an offer of only £ 19,000, however, just before our meeting ended, he upped the offer to £ 35,000. I asked if he would put that in writing and he promised me that he would. Nothing had arrive by a week later so I rang the office and was told that one would soon be in the post. Another week - still nothing. On ringing the office I was told (by the same person who spoke to me the week before) that they did not issue offers in writing. When I asked why I had twice been promised one, he just said he did't know. This firm seems to be a total waste of time - yet the fat guy went on and on about how fast they moved. On the verge of criminal - BEWARE !

I would like to warn people not to use this firm as we to our misfortune have just done. We rang them up in April of this year so that we could hopefully get a cash offer without going through the rigmarole of estate agents, and them saying on their website that they purchased property fast, they came round made us a cash offer which we accepted and subsequently signed the agreement. No sooner had we signed that it was put up for sale on right move by Phoenix Estates at a price almost £10,000 pounds more than they had offered us. A month went by during which Richard from property purchased fast rang us up a few times asking for permission for someone to come round with prospective buyers. After the first month they rang us up and said that as they had not had any offers on the property they said that the chief valuer had over valued it and they were making us a much reduced offer, panic set in as I am sure is what they rely on. This situation dragged on till September when they found a buyer. Be aware of this company who say on their website that THEY purchase property fast. But in hindsight it would have been quicker and less hassle to have gone with a local estate agent.

My friend is going through hell due to this charlatan of a company. They’ve put a charge on his property despite having been instructed within 4 days of him signing a dubious scrap of paper that he was withdrawing from their offer (within 14 day cooling period as dictated by LAW) AVOID at all costs.
