My experience of finding a property to rent from Thornley Groves Manchester has been very satisfactory. My initial contact was with Francesca to register and view potential properties. Francesca was very personable and professional in all my dealings with her either in person or by email/phone. I made an offer on a suitable property a few days later and the progression stage was handled by Gabrielle. It was a very efficient and stress-free process and any questions I had with my application was handled in a very timely and understanding manner. Gabrielle always got back to me within hours of any query raised and made sure my path to getting the house keys and moving in was very smooth. The whole process from initial contact to getting the keys was just over 12 days . Would definitely use Thornley Groves again if needed to rent in the future based on my dealings with Francesca and Gabrielle

I have been using them to let my property out for over 15 years now, I have raised multiple complaints through all these years. I am a very patient person, but I have finally lost of patience this time and decided to terminate my contact and to look after the property myself. My property has been vacant for 1.5 months, but there was no urgency of them trying to look for a tenant for me, despite I tried to get in touch with them multiples times, trying to see what I could do to attract viewings, i.e. should I reduce my rent, should I refurbish the property, etc? I have mentioned to them multiple times in the past 8 years that I have my own contacts of contractors, so I don't need to use theirs at all, who charged a ridiculous amount and did a half decent job. A few months ago, they have sent a contractor out for 2 different jobs which never got my approval for. One job was done for about £160, which I have proof that the same job was done at my other property for half the price. Another job was done for £130, which I again had proof that I could get it done for £30! Following the 2 jobs, they sent me a quote to replace my 2 year old washing machine, and the quote was £500! After some investigation, I got it fixed for £90!!! In a short period of 3 months time, all the mistakes they have made, I lost my patience. Not only my property was left vacant for longer than necessary, but they kept on sending contractors out when I told them endless times NOT to, where complaints have been raised before, they are still doing it after so many years! In the past couple of years, I actually had to take money out to cover the cost of this property, due to Thornley Grove's incompetency.

I had the pleasure of working with Stuart Daniels during the purchase of my flat, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Stuart was incredibly thorough, always on top of timelines and communication, and such a great mediator between myself and the seller, he made what could’ve been a stressful process feel seamless. Towards the end of the journey, I also had the joy of working with Natasha Conway, who was just as responsive, supportive, and lovely to deal with. I wholeheartedly recommend Thornley Groves, not just as a fantastic estate agency, but for the absolute gems on their team. Huge thanks to Stuart and Natasha for being total pros from start to finish!
